This WebQuest was developed by Ashley Keown, a student at the University of Texas at Arlington. This WebQuest was created for the READ 4373 class to promote student interest in weather by encouraging reading science content books, exploring weather related websites, performing hands on activities, and an experiment. Students will read Ray Broekel's book Storms and become familiar with weather terms. Students learn how to forecast the weather by using wind, cloud type, and their senses. Students will be able to determine the relationship between weather and climate. |
